the (improved) partyplace

backslash 2007 will be held in an old military air-raid shelter, called Mariaberget in Vasteras/Sweden, which is about 110 kilometers away from Stockholm (one hour by train). Mariaberget is secure enough for ABB, moldy enough for kickboxing and gives us the freedom of making constant noise 24/7 without disturbing anyone at all. it is also really near the center of Vasteras, which implies some nice features such as being near systembolaget and lots of other things like food places, hotels, etc.

hell yeah! the design is ready and preorders for t-shirts may be done until friday this week (15/6-2007) by simply emailing to the email adress found at the contact page. as long as you've paid the shirt, we'll have it ready for you at the party. so, how do the fabulous t-shirts look? click here for a nice preview. the price will be 120 SEK.

there will also be a possibility to buy t-shirts at the party even if you haven't preordered, but for a price of 150 SEK. the shirt will then be shipped to you right after the party!

live acts

as you probably can imagine, the partylevel automatically goes up when the alcohol level of people at the party increases. to boost this even more, we'll have dj sets and live gigs that will make you go itzi all night long.

food and drinks

we will sell some eatable things at the partyplace, together with beverages of different kinds (see the list below). most likely, we will also supply hotdogs to grill at the bbq on the top of the mountain, however this is yet to be decided.

there is also a foodstore (Hemkop) located about 200m from the partyplace. if you walk another couple of hundred meters from the foodstore, you'll find Systembolaget where you can get some booze. for your convenience, we will also supply a microwave oven so that you can heat up your frozen billy's pizzas.

Axis of Evil 2007 - FLT 20 years

like the previous two years Fairlight will be hosting the Axis of Evil BBQ right by the partyplace. all you have to do is climb up the hill and you are there. as usual you will be able to drink beer, grill some sausage, beef or tofu if thats your cup of tea. don't miss this opportunity to chill (grill) with the kings on their 20th year of glory!
